Benefits of John Burke Associations Independent Third Party Inspections Independent Site Inspectors (Clerks of Works) provide reassurance and peace of mind that construction projects conform to client expectations and recognised workmanship standards. They monitor conditions that works are carried out to ensure an environment that is conducive to producing a quality product. They witness tests to verify that the works meet specified standard requirements. They monitor progress against programme so that an independent view of where the Project is at any given stage is measured against the contractors own assessment. By providing an ongoing monitoring process, they are able to advise on all aspects of the works in progress and highlight any concerns and risks. It is well known in the construction Industry that the presence of an Independent Third Party Inspector maintains the contractor's focus on quality and ensures that quality issues are mitigated at an early stage. In addition to site based works, the Independent Third Party Inspector will also comment upon buildability and design issues, design team performance and contribute to both site and technical meetings, as required. Environmental Inspection Our ongoing site Inspection Process can be extended to include inspection and comment on various environmental issues. At present these include (but are not confined to) the following:-
Generally, John Burke Associates incorporate the client's environmental policy and expectations within the project quality plan in order to monitor compliance and adherence to standards. |
